TrimTorq is a low-cost electronic torque sensor for indirect electronic computation and monitoring of torque delivered by AC motors. This form of torque sensing has many applications where the need for reliability, repeatability and cost often outweigh the need for accuracy in torque measurement. The same models can be used for motors from fractional through integral horsepower range. Its standard features include pre-settable limits (minimum through maximum) with potential-free contacts for controlling auxiliaries or providing interlocks. Trimtorq is ideal for retrofitting on machines driven by fixed speed AC motors to monitor machine loading and to provide protection against overloading.
